Shipping Policy

Capital Peptides ships research peptides from Sacramento, California, USA. This policy explains our processing times, methods, costs, and how we handle issues with delivery.

1. Ships From

All orders are fulfilled from our Sacramento, CA facility. Local delivery across Greater Sacramento (Roseville, Folsom, Davis, Elk Grove) is typically faster than nationwide transit.

2. Processing Time

Orders placed before 2:00 PM PT on a business day are typically processed within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or holidays begin processing the next business day. (Placeholder — confirm cutoff and SLA at launch.)

3. Shipping Methods

We ship via USPS and UPS. Available service levels include:

• USPS Priority Mail (2–3 business days typical)
• USPS Priority Mail Express (1–2 business days)
• UPS Ground (1–5 business days depending on distance)
• UPS 2-Day Air (cold-shipping eligible)

4. Shipping Costs

Shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, and whether temperature-controlled shipping is required. Flat-rate options may be offered for eligible orders. (Placeholder — final pricing to be confirmed at launch.)

5. Domestic Shipping Only

We currently ship to addresses within the 50 United States only. We do not ship internationally or to US territories at this time. Research-chemical regulations vary significantly by country, and we will not ship to jurisdictions where we cannot verify compliance.

6. Temperature-Controlled Shipping

Many peptides are temperature-sensitive. Lyophilized (freeze-dried) peptides are generally stable at room temperature for short transit times, but select products require cold-chain shipping (gel-pack or dry-ice insulation) to maintain integrity.

When cold shipping is required, we will use insulated packaging and expedited service, and the cost will be reflected at checkout. Orders are typically shipped early in the week (Monday–Wednesday) to avoid weekend transit delays that could compromise temperature-sensitive products.

Upon receipt of a cold-shipped order, inspect the packaging immediately and refrigerate or freeze as directed on the product page.

7. Order Tracking

You will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order ships. Tracking is available on the carrier's website (USPS or UPS). Please allow up to 24 hours for tracking to update after you receive the notification.

8. Address Accuracy

You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Capital Peptides is not responsible for delays or non-delivery caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses. If a package is returned to us as undeliverable, we can re-ship at your expense once a corrected address is provided.

9. Signature Requirement

Orders above a threshold value, or any cold-shipped order, may require an adult (21+) signature on delivery. This protects the integrity of temperature-sensitive products and ensures they are not left unattended.

10. Lost or Damaged Packages

If your package is lost in transit or arrives visibly damaged:

• Contact us within 7 days of the expected delivery date (or within 48 hours for damaged shipments).
• Provide your order number and, for damaged shipments, photos of the outer packaging and the contents.
• We will work with the carrier to file a claim and, where appropriate, ship a replacement or issue a refund.

11. Returns & Refunds

All sales are final. Due to the nature of research chemicals — contamination risk, chain-of-custody integrity, and hazmat handling requirements — we do not accept returns of opened or unopened products once they have left our facility. This is standard practice across the research-chemical industry.

If a product arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours and we will make it right (replacement or refund) at our discretion. See Section 10.
